AN Army Staff Sergeant from Tidworth will be motorcycling from Gloucestershire to Sussex to raise money for Blind Veterans UK, the national charity for blind and vision-impaired ex-Service men and women, and he is encouraging others to join him on the ride.
Dean Carpenter, 46, will be taking part in Ride for Life Beyond Sight Loss, the charity’s annual motorcycling event, this year for the second time.
Dean said: “It’s a fantastic charity and an excuse to get together with like-minded people on motorcycles. The more people who join, the better the ride will get."
Places for Ride for Life Beyond Sight Loss takes place on Saturday, August 15. The event kicks off at Moreton-in-Marsh at 9am and end with a BBQ at the Brighton Centre later that day. There’s one stop at Loomies Cafe in Petersfield to pick up riders for the finish.
