ZORB football and an army assault course were among the attractions at a family fun day in aid of the Stars Appeal Breast Cancer Unit Campaign.

Organised by Lifestyle Fitness at Avon Valley College on Saturday, the event also saw Durrington Football Club put on a target practice game.

Lifestyle Fitness Club manager Matthew Sinclair said: “We were thrilled by the turn out and also with the local businesses who gave their time to help us with the event.

“Once again the generosity of our members and the local community has made a difference to a local charity in need of vital funds.

“The army assault course was put on by 74 Support Battery (The Battle Axe Company) Royal Artillery and had youngsters scrambling, jumping, spinning and weaving their way through the course to compete for the fastest time and there was no holding back for teams taking part in the Zorb football.”

The day raised £580 for the appeal.
