THREE Salisbury Tri Club (STC) athletes braved the soggy conditions at the Buckler's Hard Triathlon.
Jen Witt, Chris Pascoe and Jane Knight competed in the Standard distance triathlon on Sunday. The course consists of two laps in the Beaulieu river, the 35k bike ride through Beaulieu, Dibden and Applemore and then an 11k run.
Pascoe led the STC team home with a time of 2:42, with Knight crossing the line next in 2:55, then Witt in 3:05.
In Worthing, James Cooper, Katie West, Dave West and Emma Houghton raced in the Worthing Triathlon.
Competing in the Standard distance event, athletes took part in the 1,500m choppy sea swim, followed by a wet, windy undulating 41k cycle, then a 10k promenade run.
Dave West completed the race in 2:32, Katie West in 2:46 and Houghton in 2:51.
