TWO air rifles were stolen from a shed located at the rear of Australian Avenue in Salisbury.
The theft happened overnight on Monday and Tuesday.
One of the air rifles is described as a "rare and distinctive" Webley Eclipse 22 while the other is a Webley Vulcan 22.
The victim was alerted by the family dog, who scared off the suspects at about 12.45am.
Salisbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is reminding residents to be vigilant after an increase in shed and garage burglaries.
