A DECISION into the outcome of the investigation into former Wiltshire Police chief constable Pat Geenty and two other officers over the way they handled complaints relating to allegations of sexual abuse is set to be made.
Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire and Swindon, Angus Macpherson, has written to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) with his response into Mr Geenty.
Current chief constable Mike Veale will make the decision on the other two serving officers, who are an inspector and detective constable.
The IPCC reported last month that the three officers faced a potential misconduct charge and Mr Geenty retired days after the report was handed to Mr Macpherson.
As Mr Geenty has retired from the force he can't face any charges.
