ST ANDREWS Pre-School and Jammie Dodgers After School Club in Tidworth has been rated outstanding by Ofsted inspectors for its quality of teaching.
The pre-school and afterschool club, which is in St Andrews Road, was previously rated good by Ofsted in 2011.
Inspector Sharon Palmer said: "The quality of teaching across the pre-school and afterschool club is outstanding. Staff provide an exceptional range of high-quality experiences for children. As a result, children are highly motivated, eager to learn and confident in expressing their views."
Staff were also praised for providing a "warm and stimulating" environment and their "excellent partnerships" between parents, other agencies and the local school.
The inspection report added: "The leadership team is highly effective in driving improvement. Staff demonstrate a strong commitment towards achieving excellence in all areas."
