CRUEL thieves have shot and stolen the bodies of 18 lambs from a field in Martin, near Fordingbridge.
Police say a high powered rifle was used to decimate the flock before crooks collected the dead lambs.
This horrific crime comes after four were taken in the spring.
Hampshire Country Watch PC Scott Graham said: "There is no evidence that a fox has taken these lambs and no indication that the lambs have been taken alive.
"The criminals have used high powered rifles from a distance and dispatched the lambs before collecting them.
"Due to the remote location we are seeking your assistance, have you heard or seen any suspicious activities in your locality? Are these lambs entering the food chain?"
If anyone has information ring the police on 101.
