Man arrested after criminal damage
A 36-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Amesbury following an allegation that he caused criminal damage.
Police were called to Salisbury Street at about 4.25pm yesterday (Wednesday) after receiving reports about him being abusive. It is claimed that he smashed glass and injured himself during an earlier incident in a nearby office. He was taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment.
He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on September 18.
