THE medieval church of All Saints’ in Idmiston will be taking a nostalgic look at weddings through the ages with an exhibition of dresses and photos of couples married in the church, from the 1930s until the present day.
The vintage wedding exhibition will be open from 10.30am to 4pm, September 18 to 20.
Tickets cost £2.50 and under 16s can attend for free.
Homemade cake and refreshments will be available.
All Saints’ is maintained by The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) — the national charity protecting historic churches at risk - and contains a collection of medieval carvings, including some fearsome gargoyles at the entrance.
