A SALISBURY artist is part of a major culture and environment project.

Suzie Gutteridge is among 14 artists who are involved in step in stone, which portrays contemporary artwork while exploring the wild landscapes of abandoned and working quarries in rural East Mendip, Somerset.

Having opened in July, the project is reaching its finale crescendo with its third and final step culminating in embracing six venues including one working and two disused quarries.

All artists will be showing together, for the first time in the project, to create dynamic indoor exhibitions and an extraordinary experience at Fairy Cave Quarry.

The trail is open until Sunday, October 18.
