A FAIR showcasing the wonderful world of wood was held at the grounds of Breamore House at the weekend.
The Cranborne Chase Woodfair featured large machinery displays, speed chainsaw carvers, pole lathe turners, willow weavers and local crafts and food stalls along with archaeologists, historians, farmers and dog handlers.
Thousands of people are attracted to the fair, which has become a magnet for conservation, rural craft and rural enterprise.
There will be more than 150 exhibitors and demonstrators and lots of different activities.
Breamore House, which has been home to the Hulse family for more than 250 years, also houses the Countryside Museum.
