A NUMBER of vehicles have been damaged and a pedestrian was injured following a car rampage in the Salisbury Plain area.

A man was hit in the back by a "projectile" thought to be a from a catapult while cars were damaged around Durrington and Bulford.

The local man was not seriously injured during the incident which happened on Sunday (October 4). 

One vehicle was deliberately damaged whilst parked in Sling Road, Bulford, two other vehicles were damaged on Salisbury Plain near 'C' crossing and a fourth in the area of Milston Road. All the incidents happened after 4pm. 

The injured man was in the area of 'C' crossing when the assault took place. 

Several men were seen in a green people carrier type vehicle in the area at the time. One of the passengers is described as white, with dark hair, and dark clothing.
