MORE than 100 members of the Women's Royal Army Corps Association converged on Salisbury for their annual reunion.

They came from as far afield as Plymouth, Southampton and Bristol for the occasion, which was held at Salisbury's Royal British Legion Club.

Mayor of Salisbury, Councillor Sheila Warrander, and her husband, Michael, attended the reunion and welcomed the visitors to the city.

Among those attending was Salisbury branch chairman, Alison Ogden, and area chairman, Major Ann Maskens-McIntyre. Lieutenant Colonel Valerie Trout was thanked for planning the day, which included a buffet lunch and entertainment from Jill and Bernie Martin.
