PUPILS in Salisbury have been given high visibility vests so they can be seen on walks home from school as evenings get darker.
Children at Greentrees Primary School, Bishopdown Farm, received the vests from developer Barratt Homes, as the school is close to their Riverdown Park development.
Lynette St Quintin, Barratt Homes sales director said they "know first-hand the importance of being safe and being seen”.
Headteacher Jannette Bennett said: “Keeping our pupils safe both inside and outside of the school gates is a top priority for us. We are very grateful.”
