A SALISBURY-based company is part of the world-wide battle against HIV and other infectious diseases.

Blue Frontier, whose offices are based in Netherhampton, near Salisbury, outlined the work they are doing as they announced the acquisition of another city based digital marketing and design company Dynamics Digital.

James Fry, managing director of Blue Frontier, said: “The world of web design is changing, simply offering a ‘nice looking website’ is no longer enough. Clients are looking for a return on their investment and to exploit digital marketing for business growth.”

“By adding the skills and knowledge of the Dynamics team, Blue Frontier can offer a full service with genuine specialists in all aspects of digital marketing.”

“From design and development of websites and applications to marketing, social media, web hosting and support – we work with our clients to increase opportunities and success online.”

Blue Frontier was founded back in 2004, and has since grown to a team of 26 dedicated professionals offering a broad range of services to businesses and organisations across the UK and overseas.

In the past few years the company has also worked closely with medical device manufacturers and global health organisations to pioneer in the field of ‘Connected Health’. With a focus on infectious disease in the Developing World, Blue Frontier has designed and developed solutions responsible for the collection and visualisation of diagnostic data for HIV, Ebola TB and flu.

Technical director Luke Harrington said: “These are multimillion pound projects with device manufacturers who are responsible for delivering point of care diagnostics to some of the World’s most remote locations.

Collecting vital, real-time data to analyse and report on, is key to continued improvement in public health.”

“Our solutions are at the heart of point of care diagnostics. The devices deliver a diagnosis on the spot in minutes and this data is then used to help disease control and enhance disease prevention programmes across the globe.”
