THE doors are set to open on a brand new retail outlet whose profits will go to helping the homeless.

Salisbury based Alabaré Christian Care & Support will be opening a large warehouse charity superstore, to be known as the Alabaré Warehouse Emporium this weekend.

The store will stock everything from vintage fashion to antique furniture, collectables, household items, books and bric a brac.

It will be open Thursday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm.

Located at Riverside House, 2 Watt Road, Salisbury, The Emporium, the 9th store in Alabaré’s retail portfolio, opens its doors on November 28.

Martin Field, Director of Income Generation, said: “We are very excited to be opening our very own Emporium; the money raised will go directly to help fund local projects such as our flag ship Alabaré Place Drop In Centre and our work with adults with learning difficulties.

“The shelves are fit to bursting but we do anticipate quite high foot fall through the shop so we are asking local residents to think of us if they are doing a New Year Spring Clean – we would be extremely grateful for any donations.”
