THE success of Bluez n Zuz has been used to benefit the Stars Appeal.
A cheque for £144 was presented at Salisbury District Hospital on Thursday on behalf of the Amesbury Neighbourhood Police Team by 12-year-olds Isaac Barnard and Heidi Burkwood, who regular attend the events.
Bluez n Zuz has seen attendance steadily rise — 144 youngsters attended the Christmas event, which was held at Durrington Working Mens Club.
The Stars Appeal was the young people's chosen charity.
The next superhero themed Bluez n Zuz will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 7pm and 9pm. Admission is £2.
It is open to young people aged 11-15 years of age.
The Bluez n Zuz disco is supported by Wiltshire Police along with Durrington Town Council, Army Welfare and Wiltshire Council youth workers.
