A BAG was stolen from a parked car near Mere.
The theft took place on Saturday, April 16 between 4.20pm and 6pm at the King Alfred's Tower car park, Stourton.
A rear passenger door window was smashed and a red and black rucksack which had been left in view was stolen.
PC Stephen Porter said: "I'd like to take this opportunity to remind motorists to keep valuables locked away and out of sight at all times.
"The bag contained credit cards, passports, a mobile phone, Samsung Tablet, driving licences and cash and so this has understandably been distressing for the victim."
Witnesses should call PC Stephen Porter at Warminster Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
