STONEHENGE was bathed in light as a special beacon was lit to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.
The beacon at Stonehenge was one of more than a thousand being lit across the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, UK overseas territories and a Commonwealth country.
Local Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from Shrewton, Amesbury, Larkhill, Boscombe Down, Bulford, Netheravon, Porton, Shipton Bellinger, Tidworth and Perham Down joined into celebrate the Queen's landmark birthday.
When the beacon was lit last night (Thursday) 150 girls sang Happy Birthday Your Majesty.
Another beacon was lit by the deputy mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Derek Brown OBE, at Old Sarum.
