THE Westminster Chamber Orchestra will return to Salisbury this weekend.
They will give a spring concert at St Martin’s Church on Saturday (May 21), 7.30pm. The group, led by Salisbury born professional violinist Marian Givens, is a virtuoso ensemble.
She said: “We are very excited about Saturday’s programme, which will feature works by Mozart, Walton, and Elgar, including the ever popular Introduction and Allegro, alongside the lesser known, but stunning, Adagio by Guillaume Lekeu, a pupil of Cesar Franck.”
The programme will also include works by Warlock and Carse and refreshments will be served in the interval.
Tickets are £15, £10 concessions and are available on the door or in advance by emailing Maz994@aol.com
