SALISBURY Tri Club (STC) turned out in force for the New Forest Standard Race triathlon at Moyles Court School.

Wayne Reynolds was the first Salisbury representative home, finishing second overall in a speedy two hours and two minutes.

Ruth Thom came in 20th, finishing in 2.19 to be the third fastest female over the line.

Matthew Spooner was next in for STC, 41st over the line and fourth in age group with 2.25 on the clock.

Dudley Kent, back from his Mallorca adventure, was the 54th finisher in a time of 2.32 and seventh in age group.

Jen Witt came in close behind and, despite a good swim, was caught up by her team mates on the bike, finishing 62nd overall in a personal best of 2.36.
