THE Startup Britain bus visited Salisbury today, with experts from all fields on hand to offer advice and guidance to budding entrepreneurs.
The event, located in Salisbury Market Place, allowed the general public the opportunity to enquire how the professionals achieved their position, as well as receiving feedback on any ideas.
Director of StartUp Britain Matt Smith said: “The sun has been out for StartUp Britain’s first visit to Salisbury and the bus took prime position in the market square.
“We’ve met a great range of individuals with a fascinating mix of businesses- from vintage weddings to walking tours, cake making and even an executive membership airline!”
Founded by eight entrepreneurs and launched in 2011 by the prime minister, StartUp Britain is completely private sector-funded.
It was launched in response to the government's call for an 'enterprise led' recovery.
