THE deadline is now fast approaching for entries to the Face of Salisbury 2017 competition.
The Journal is working with the UK’s Most Wanted Best Local Salon Winner JASHAIR Group to find a winner.
Entries for the competition, which has modelling contract with top agency Gingersnap as the top prize, need to be with us by midnight Friday.
The prize will include a professional photoshoot with the JASHAIR Group, free hairdressing and a modelling portfolio.
All candidates will be published in the Journal and the public will have a chance to vote before a final selection is made by a panel of judges. Those shortlisted will be invited to the Journal's photo studio for head and shoulder shots ahead of the final decision.
Bill Browne, the Journal’s publisher, said: “This is a great opportunity for any young man or woman who has ever dreamed of modelling, and we are looking forward to working with JASHAIR.”
All you have to do right now is e-mail a head-and-shoulders picture of yourself (selfies please no professional shots) and give us your details (name, age, e-mail address and contact details). The competition is open to all those living in the Journal’s circulation area and aged between 16 to 25.
Pictures will be published in the Journal on October 20th and then it will go to a reader vote for the top twenty male and female entrants.
The winner will then be selected by a panel of judges.
