CYNTHIA and Jeremy Ludford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, August 20.
The pair met on Jeremy’s 19th birthday in 1965, when they gate-crashed a party with their best friends.
Six weeks later they were engaged, before marrying the following year.
They moved to Salisbury after completing their studies, with Cynthia becoming a GP and Jeremy a dentist.
They settled down and eventually had three daughters.
They are now both retired and celebrated their golden anniversary with a party on Saturday, August 27. Family and friends joined in the festivities and toasted a rewarding life.
The Ludfords also have nine grand-children.
