FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs in Salisbury.

On Tuesday, police officers carried out a warrant at an address in Denison Rise.

Inside the property, they found a quantity of suspected class A drugs as well as drugs paraphernalia.

Four people – a 28-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 31-year-old man all from the local area – were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

PC Ian Tilley said: “This was a successful warrant which led to the arrest of four people, and a quantity of suspected class A drugs has been seized, preventing them from reaching the streets of Salisbury and into the hands of vulnerable drug users.

“We often rely on intelligence from members of the local community to enable us to execute warrants of this nature, therefore I would encourage anyone who suspects drug activity in their neighbourhood to contact police on 101. We always act on information we receive.”
