TAKE a well-deserved break from the Christmas preparations to chill out this Sunday and enjoy the big band sound of the Girls Only Jazz Orchestra (GOJO) at Salisbury Arts Centre.
The programme is chock-full of music from such "greats" as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Woody Herman and Buddy Rich, combined with Latin American numbers and more up to date hits from new writers.
Come and capture the nostalgia of the great years of the Swing era through
timeless classics, as well as to hear some of the freshest sounds around.
GOJO is a 20-piece Big Band. The Big Band Brunch takes place in the arts centre cafe at midday on Sunday.
