A DRIVER has been trapped in a car on its side on the Salisbury ring road.
Police were called at just before 2pm to Churchill Way West and have closed one side of the carriageway between St Mark's roundabout and Castle Roundabout.
They say a lorry - believed to be a concrete mixer - was also involved in the accident.
It is understood that no-one has suffered life-changing or life threatening injuries.
Firefighters are trying to free the trapped driver and paramedics are also on the scene.
Firefighters have cut free an elderly man using hydraulic cutting equipment. Crews from Salisbury Wilton and Trowbridge attended the scene.
