AUDIENCES dug deep to help raise £320 for mental health charity SANE.
The money was raised during the New Sarum Singers Joy of Christmas concert on Saturday, December 10 at Bemerton Methodist Church.
A spokesman for the New Sarum Singers said: "Raising such a significant sum was particularly satisfying as two members of the choir have had first-hand experience of the help and support that SANE gives to the families, friends and carers of those who suffer from mental illness. A wonderful finish to an evening that had started with such unpromising weather."
The New Sarum Singers are a Salisbury-based community choir who perform three times a year to raise money for charity.
