MICHAEL Portillo will be speaking about his life and experiences when he comes to Salisbury.
Portillo will be at Salisbury Arts Centre on Sunday, January 29, at 3pm, for Life: A Game of Two Halves.
It took Portillo little more than 10 years to get a seat in the House of Commons and then to rise in power and esteem to a point where he was a favoured leader of his party and possible future PM.
Since leaving the house a decade ago, he has turned into a TV personality, appearing in television shows including BBC documentary series Great British Railway Journeys.
The audience will have a chance to ask questions during the event. The talk is suitable for ages 12 and older.
Tickets are £22 and £20 for concessions, and available from Salisbury Arts Centre box office by calling 01722 321744 or online at salisburyartscentre.co.uk.
