MASKED raiders burst into a petrol station and attacked a terrified worker before escaping with cash and scratchcards.

Two hooded robbers targeted the Esso Garage in Southampton Road, Salisbury at 10pm on Thursday, February 16.

The 6ft men threw a member of staff to the ground, causing minor injuries, before snatching £200 from the till.

They were described as having a medium build and wore dark-coloured, hooded tops and gloves.

PC Kimberley Weston said:"This was a frightening experience for the victim and we are interested to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and who saw anything suspicious."
