A SERVICE station was evacuated yesterday after two hoax bomb threats were made.
Solstice Services in Amesbury was cordoned off while police dealt with the "suspicious phone calls".
Police were alerted at just before 2pm after two businesses received calls saying there was a bomb in the building.
Officers swooped on Solstice Park, closing roads including Solstice Park Avenue.
A dog trained in finding explosives was brought in as police combed the area.
Amesbury Police posted a message on Facebook to say the services were closed at just before 2.30pm.
But it turned out to be a false alarm and the cordon was lifted at 4.15pm.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "We are currently dealing with an incident at Solstice Park – we received a call reporting a suspicious phone call to a premises at the location.
"As a precaution, a number of the businesses at the park have been evacuated and a cordon is in place. We advise that you avoid the area until further notice."
Solstice Services includes a number of fast-food restaurants, a filling station and Holiday Inn.
The situation at Solstice Services is now resolved and businesses are open as usual. Thank you for your patience.
