A MAN was knocked off his bike in a hit-and-run between Barford St Martin and Dinton yesterday.
The 24-year-old man from Tisbury suffered minor injuries in the collision which involved a blue motor vehicle and happened at around 2am.
Police are appealing for any witnesses as the driver failed to stop.
The incident happened close to Dinton Salvage on the B3089.
The vehicle left the scene in the direction of Chilmark.
PC Steve Porter said: “The vehicle will have sustained damage to the front nearside wing mirror as this came off during the impact with the cyclist.
“We’d really like to hear from anyone who witnesses the incident or may have information relating to the offending vehicle.”
