THE region’s nursery and primary schools are leading the way in their nominations for the Journal Education Awards. Entries have flooded in for the category to highlight some of the excellent work that is being carried out at the starter level.
There have been nominations for staff at six of the Salisbury secondary schools and colleges, but there are some notable absences so far from the educational bases.
Bill Browne, Publisher of the Journal, said: “Some might have assumed that nominations for some schools will be automatic, but unless parents, fellow members of staff or pupils speak up we could miss some real stars.”
The entries have been coming in by the dozen for the awards which will be hosted at the Milford Hall Hotel in July.
There’s a wide variety of awards to be won and nominating could not be simpler. Plus it could win one nominator a £100 prize (see prize details here)
