AMONG the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

Nonihal Singh Bhakar, 29, of Chilworth Road, Chilworth. Pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £30 victim services surcharge and £100 costs.

Marius Ghinea, 38, of Hartington Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to give a breath sample. Banned for 20 months, fined £350 ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £200 costs.

Tony Ward, 48, of Tunstall Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of vodka. Given nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim services surcharge.

Katie Louise Mounce, 21, of Blenheim Gardens, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Three points and ordered to pay victim surcharge £30.

Mahala Louise Murphy, 42, of Shalcombe, Netley Abbey. Pleaded guilty to intent to cause harassment. Ordered to carry out 75 hours of unpaid work and given restraining order. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

James Paul Cooper, 45 of Graham Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing hair straighteners from Boots. Conditional discharge for 10 months ordered to pay £79.99 compensation.

Jamie Paul Lee, 27, of Oxford Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting two people and stealing two bottles of Peroni from Co-Op. Community order made and given a curfew from 8pm until 8am for two months. Ordered to pay £80 compensation.

Owen Daniel Passmore, 37, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat from Lidl. Six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

Emma Patricia Hanlon, 29, of Condor Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a man and possessing cannabis. Community order, including a curfew for three months between the hours of 9pm and 6am, as well as a drug rehabilitation requirement. Compensation £100. Costs £60.

Susan I’anson, 46, of Shears Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to failing to inform Eastleigh council of a change of circumstance which would affect her benefit. Community order, including 60 hours of unpaid work. Victim service surcharge £60.

John McManus, 52, of Sayers Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to failing to inform Eastleigh council of that he owned a third share in a property, which would affect his benefit. Discharged conditionally for three years. Victim service surcharge £15.

Matthew Gilbert, 25, of Tremona Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a previous community order issued for assaulting a male last year. Costs £30.

Nicky Edward Rutt, 36, of Alma Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a previous community order, including attending a rehabilitation requirement and unpaid work . Ordered to continue. Fined £160. Costs £60.

Janie Marie Thompson, 26, Kings Crescent, Lymington. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a previous community order, by failing to attend unpaid work. Order to continue. Costs £30.00.

Lee Matthew Kelly, 40, of Ticonderoga Gardens, Southampton. Found guilty of taking a van without owner’s consent and driving without insurance. Ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, eight penalty points and ordered to pay £85 victim services surcharge and £400 costs.

Lloyd Michael Burden, 27, of Home Field Drive, Nursling. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £500 and ordered to pay £50 victim services surcharge and £85 costs. Banned for three years.

James Cutter, 28, of Ropley Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Jailed for 26 weeks suspended for two years and given four-month curfew. Ordered to pay £500 compensation.

Caroline Mary Denise Sherred, 24, of Wellow Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault. Given a three-month curfew and ordered to pay £125 compensation.

Benjamin Alan Gregory, 22, of Hinkler Road, Thornhill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching community order. Ordered to pay £30 costs.

Deepak Parshottom Pankhania, 31, of Waterhouse Lane, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to attend a drink impaired drivers programme. Ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work consecutive to current order and ordered to pay costs £60.

Siphie Sikhosana, 20, of Northam Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching community order. Ordered to carry out 20 hours unpaid work consecutive to current order, fined £100 and ordered to pay £60 costs.
