TWO men were found with hand injuries after police were called to reports of a burglary in progress at a city pub last night.
Officers were called to the Cat Tavern in South Western Road shortly after 8.50pm and found the men at the scene.
They were taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment and one of the men, a 23-year-old local man, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
A police spokesman said he will be invited in for interview and that enquiries are continuing.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101.
