WITNESSES are being sought after a driver failed to stop after a crash on the A36 between Codford and Stapleford.
The incident happened at about 9.30am yesterday (Thursday, July 13).
Police say a white Dacia Sandero was travelling in the direction of Warminster when a grey, new looking van pulled out of a line of oncoming traffic heading towards Salisbury and collided with the Sandero.
The van failed to stop at the scene.
A white Kia Venga which was behind the Dacia, witnessed the incident and had to swerve, closely avoiding the van. It was hit by debris from the Dacia and sustained minor damage.
The Dacia sustained extensive damage.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone who may be able to identify the van involved.
