ROADWORKS in Downton have caused delays of over an hour on every day since they started.
A puffin crossing has been set up on Salisbury Road as part of the works, controlling the traffic in both directions.
Wiltshire Council described the works, which started yesterday, as "moderate", but drivers have reported long delays for both days the crossing has been in place.
Yet again @wiltscouncil allowed roadworks on A338 Downton causing massive queues. No one working and lights on auto. 80mins from Salisbury !
