STAFF had an opportunity to enjoy a summer barbecue on the Green at Salisbury District hospital as a special thank you from the Trust Board for all their efforts during the past year. For those who were unable to get to the Green, cakes and treats were also available at the main entrance and in the facilities reception area, so colleagues could pick up and take back to their own areas.

Cara Charles-Barks, chief executive, said: “There are a number of opportunities to celebrate the work of individual staff groups and professions and formally recognise staff achievements through our awards ceremonies. All our staff and volunteers work hard throughout the year and we wanted to do something extra that they could all enjoy. While our British summer gave us a grey day, it was a great success and I know that the Trust Board and our staff enjoyed what was a really special and informal occasion.”
