ARMED police, dog units and plain clothes officers attended an incident in Winterslow this afternoon.
Police said they were "dealing with an incident" in Winterslow and were seen near the Haven cafe in Firsdown, but a spokesman for the force said it would "not be appropriate to comment further at the moment".
The A30 had been closed between the Winterslow junctions but has now re-opened.
