A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of human trafficking at a Firsdown car wash.
Wiltshire Police attended the Shiny Car Hand Wash on the A30 yesterday morning due to "concerns for the welfare of a number of occupants of the site".
Three children under nine were removed from the site and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being involved in human trafficking.
He is being held in custody at Melksham for questioning.
Three people from the site are currently being provided with support from specially trained police officers.
Inspector Pete Sparrow said: “Wiltshire Police will continue to work with all appropriate agencies to ensure safeguarding measures are put in place to protect vulnerable people.”
