A TISBURY woman was left shaken after finding a man crouching below her kitchen window.
At about 9.20pm on Saturday (August 12) the woman found a man crouching at the back of her house in St John's Close trying to hide below the window.
Police say the woman was "naturally very shaken" and fled to a neighbour who raised the alarm.
Police officers, including a dog handler, attended and searched the area but the man was not found. He is described as slim and white with a "skinhead" hair cut, possibly wearing a khaki t-shirt and jeans.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at this time and may have witnessed someone matching this description or anyone who can assist with the identity of this person as soon as possible.
Call 101 and give incident number 73832.
