A DISABLED woman from Wilton says she feels "victimised" after her car was damaged.

Anni Perrett says her Mitsubishi Shogun Sport was scratched down both sides when it was parked in Wishford Road overnight on Thursday, August 10.

It is believed it happened sometime between 6pm on August 10 and 10am on August 11.

She said: "To my dismay the next morning we found that my new car had been keyed fully down both sides. I just wish some people had a conscience, this is so upsetting for me and has made me more ill than normal."

Anni said: "I have been really hurt and very tearful and feel victimised. I've only had the car about a month too."

She says it will cost about £1,000 and possibly more to repair the damage.

She added: "My husband is going to try and fix it but that's costing enough and may not work. I definitely can't afford a garage, I live on Personal Independence Payment and not a lot more."

Anni says this is the first time anything like this has happened to her and the incident has made her "very wary" of where she parks her car.

Wiltshire Police say enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
