A CYCLIST was kicked and shouted at by a pedestrian as he rode his bike in Salisbury late last month.
Between 11.50am and midday on August 28, a male cyclist aged in his 40s, was riding down Bourne Hill. When he got to the bottom of the hill, a pedestrian shouted at him, before kicking him to his leg causing bruising.
The pedestrian, who is described as male, aged in his 30s, of athletic build and wearing a short sleeved black t-shirt and carrying a sports bag over one shoulder.
Following the incident, he continued walking down Green Croft Street.
Today (Wednesday) police have issued an appeal for information into the attack.
PCSO Simon Nash said: “There was a male driver of a car present who stopped to check the welfare of the cyclist – we’d really like to get in contact with him.
“If this was you, or if you were in the area around this time and saw either the cyclist, or the pedestrian, please get in touch via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
