A MAN in his 50s was taken to hospital after he was found hanging in the woods on Harnham Slope on Tuesday.
The air ambulance landed at Essex Square and the man was taken to Salisbury District Hospital.
Police were called at just after 10.30am by the ambulance service following concerns for the man's safety.
Police said there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
The ambulance service said it could not provide any information about the incident.
