TWO men have been arrested after a raid in Salisbury uncovered a stash of class B drugs, weapons and cash.

The raid was carried out at 9.30am today (Friday) in Essex Square to arrest the men on suspicion of making threats. However, while officers were there they found cannabis worth £1,000, £250 in cash and a £900 bicycle.

Officers also found weapons including a Samurai sword, knuckle duster, baseball bat and cross-bow.

A 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were arrested in relation to the raid and are currently in custody.

Inspector Pete Sparrow said: "This is a good result - finding two people at the address as well as the cash, cannabis and weapons - preventing these drugs and weapons from getting on to the streets of Salisbury.

“Our enquiries are ongoing in relation to this warrant.
