BUMPER crowds packed the city's streets last night to marvel in the Salisbury Illuminated Carnival.
The carnival now in it's eighth year saw a wave of colour and sound fill the medieval streets.
The procession included entries from Wessex Carnival Circuit, community groups, charities and business.
This year's carnival was raising money for the Mayor of Salisbury's charity, the Alzheimer's Society.
