NOW the dust has settled on the refurbishment and the success of The Brittas Empire reunion at New Forest District Council's Ringwood Health and Leisure Centre, an open day has been organised to showcase all the facility has to offer.
Improvements to the council-run centre include new lighting, better air conditioning, a dedicated indoor cycling studio with the ability to provide virtual classes, an extended gym with brand-new equipment, and general updating to the centre.
Cllr James Binns, Portfolio Holder for Health and Leisure at NFDC, said "As well as an opportunity to have a look around the centre and see what is new, the event is a chance for local residents to come together to celebrate the new facilities with free activities including swimming, sauna and steam, health checks, and lots of family fun.
"We are really proud of the improvements we have made in the facilities and we hope our customers are too."
The open day is scheduled for Saturday November 4, from 9am to 4.45pm.
