SCHOOLCHILDREN in Tisbury have been helping wrap and pack Christmas shoeboxes.
Pupils from St John's CoE Primary School joined Valerie Ridout at the Nadder Centre to get the shoeboxes ready to send off to children in Romania.
Fifty shoeboxes were packed with presents and wrapped and will be sent off soon as part of Reo's Romanian Christmas shoebox appeal.
Valerie says two girls who helped with the shoeboxes spent their pocket money every week at carboot sales looking for anything that could be used as gifts.
Her six-year-old son Aaron could not help pack all the presents because he had a maths assessment but was so keen to ensure he did not miss out he went to the Nadder Centre at 7.15am to wrap one.
