THE Oddfellows in Salisbury is inviting locals to join them for an evening of cheese and wine.
The organisation wants to reach out to residents in a bid to improve people’s lives in the area by forging new friendships – something they have been doing for over 200 years.
The event on Saturday 25 at 6pm will allow visitors to get a taste of what it means to be a part of the Oddfellows Society.
Angela Hamilton, branch secretary of Salisbury Wessex Oddfellows, said: “Our members will be ready to offer a warm welcome to everyone who turns up and answer any questions they might have about the Society
“We’re really looking forward to it and, as well as having a nice time, there’ll also be a chance to enter our prize draw to win a luxury food hamper.”
The evening will take place at Hale Hall, in School Lane, Salisbury, and tickets cost £5.
To book please call Angela on 07999 836038 or email angela.hamilton@oddfellows.co.uk.
