TICKETS for the full line up of events for the spring season at Salisbury Arts Centre are now on sale.

The varied programme offers something for everyone - world class theatre, exceptional music and dance, some of comedy’s biggest names plus delightful productions for younger audiences.

Travelling Light and The egg present Snow Mouse, which runs from January 5 -7. Watch two friends embark on an adventure in a magical forest full of play, puppetry, music and wonder.

Other highlights include Our Life with Birds on Friday, February 2. It promises to give audiences a rare opportunity to meet Golden Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, hawks, owls, starlings and many more - all raised and trained by bird handlers Lloyd and Rose Buck.

Theatre Fest West also returns for 2018. As part of the programme award-winning singer, song writer and musician Louise Jordan presents No Petticoats Here on February 15 - bringing to life inspirational women who challenged expectations.

For theatre lovers, A Brave Face takes to the stage on March 2. The production by award-winning Vamos Theatre explores post-traumatic stress and the impact it can have.

On March 20, The Enormous Room comes to the arts centre and is the latest production from Stopgap Dance Company.

Family events include Glisten on February 17 and Landscapes on March 17. Sit inside Mimika’s hand made tent and experience an intimate, magical and quite unique theatre presentation.

Comedy offerings include Clare Summerskill: From Fairly Vocal to Varifocal, April 6. A celebratory evening of songs and comedy. Film offerings include The Red Turtle on January 18, the story of a man who becomes shipwrecked on a desert island.

SQUAWK returns with a range of events, including workshops - Queer Cinema Since 1990 on April 21. It will look at what ‘queer cinema’ is and its depictions of LGBTQIA+ individuals over the past three decades in films such as Boys Don’t Cry, Brokeback Mountain and Carol.
